Began selling stereoscopic panoramic camera virtual reality LucidCam

The company Lucid VR has announced the start of sales of the stereoscopic panoramic camera virtual reality LucidCam.

Recall LucidCam takes a stereoscopic video with a field angle of 180°, which can be immediately viewed on smartphones using Google Cardboard, or virtual reality headsets. To obtain a spherical panorama you can combine the three cameras and shoot them at the same time.

Fundraising on the issue LucidCam was passed in 2015, but the sale has started just now. However, the delay has a positive side: the native resolution of 1080p has been increased to 4K.

The camera costs $499. For shipment of orders manufacturer promises to begin in early August.
