Barnes & Noble Nook 3 GlowLight — available e-book with lights and a six-inch screen

Company Barnes & Noble (B&N) is one of the few who continues to produce e-books. For example, a new model called Nook GlowLight 3. Apparently, this is the first new e-book from B&N over the past two years.

The novelty is estimated at $ 120, that is, acts as a direct competitor to the Amazon Kindle Paperwhite. The device offers six-inch display with a pixel density of 300 per inch, customizable backlighting and up to 50 days of autonomy in daily reading.

Flash memory in the device is 8GB and it cannot expand. However, for ebooks it’s hardly a drawback. There are adapters, wireless interfaces, and the list of supported formats includes ePub, PDF, Adobe DRM ePub, PDF, JPG, GIF, PNG and BMP. In selling Nook GlowLight 3 will be on 8 November.
