At the end of the year, Samsung will embed in your SoC the LTE modem with carrier aggregation of six and a speed of up to 1.2 Gbps

According to The Investor, the company Samsung Electronics announced the development of a new LTE technology that supports the aggregation of six carriers (6CA).

This technology will allow mobile operators to offer their customers a fast and stable data transfer with the help of unions of more than two frequency bands to increase bandwidth.

Samsung Electronics said that the first modems LTE, providing data transfer speeds up to 1.2 Gbps, will appear in mobile processors which will be launched in the end of this year.

In February of this year, Samsung began producing 10-nanometer SoC Samsung Exynos 9 8895 Series, which has a built-LTE modem supporting carrier aggregation of five (5CA) and data transfer rate to 1 Gbit/s.

Samsung Electronics claims that the new modems that support the aggregation of the six carriers will be about 20% faster than previously released.
