At CES 2017 Intel will introduce a mini PC NUC Baby Canyon

Against the General reduction of demand for PCs in certain segments experiencing growth. This relates to gaming systems and mini PCs. Outstanding representatives of the latter category are Intel computers. According to the source, the new generation of the NUC, known under the name of Baby Canyon, will be presented at CES 2017.

Platform Baby Canyon, which will include processors and Kaby Lake Apollo Lake, will replace the platform Rock Canyon and Swift Canyon.

In January the market will be option Baby Canyon processors Core i3, in February — processors Core i5, in March — processors Core i7. In all, the new NUC will be available for five models of processors, including Core i7-7567U, Core i5-7200U and Core i3-7100U. A common feature mini-PC Core i5 and i7 CPUs will be the presence of interface Thunderbolt 3. The dimensions of the computers are equal to 115 x 111 x 35-51-35 mm.

System on the basis of the NUC long enough to offer the company Gigabyte Technology, Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) and ASRock. Recently they were joined by Asustek Computer, Lenovo and Shuttle.
