Asustek plans to maintain its leading position in the market of gaming PCs in 2017
Vice President division monitors the company Asustek Computer, CIO Vincent (Vincent Chiou) noted that the market monitors in the next year will increase by 5-10%, and Asustek will retain a leadership position in the segment of gaming monitors.
Currently more than 50% of governmental and educational institutions of Taiwan are monitors Asustek. According to the latest IDC data, Asustek holds approximately 29% of the Taiwan market. It is expected that Asustek will show a much larger growth this year than competitors in Europe, the middle East and Africa. In addition, the company is in the top three in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Turkey.
Vincent, CIO noted that the gaming monitors today make up about 10% of the supply of all monitors Asustek in Europe and North America. In these regions gaming solutions Asustek occupy about 40 and 50% of the market respectively.
According to him, next year the increase in the supply of gaming monitors will exceed 100%, the trend will be large diagonal, high resolution, high frame rate and curved panels.
