Apple will ship before the end of the year 20 million iPhone X, twice less than planned

Edition Nikkei Asian Review claims that iPhone shipments X this year will amount to about 20 million smartphones, while Apple initially planned to ship to stores twice as many devices.

Such a sharp adjustment plans due to the continuing problems in the production of the iPhone X, which is due to the high percentage of defects in the production of innovative front-facing 3D camera, and also Flex-rigid printed circuit boards.

Manufacturers have significantly reduced the percentage of scrap in recent months, but at the moment the production rate of the iPhone X is about 10 million smartphones in a month.

It is reported that Apple has already started negotiations with other manufacturers parts, but the pace of production should increase until next year.

iPhone X will go on sale on 3 November.
