Apple will reduce its fee for a subscription app to stream video content up to 15%
According to recent figures by Bloomberg, Apple may reduce the percentage of revenue that it takes to sign in apps for streaming video content presented in the App Store.
Sources familiar with the situation argue that for these applications, Apple plans to reduce its portion of revenue from 30% to 15%. For other applications, which offer users a subscription, the decline of the Apple up to 15% will occur only if the user subscribe to the year.
Earlier this year, Apple has already announced its plans to reduce the percentage of their income on subscription services up to 15%, but it was only about the applications, not related to the streaming of video content.
Apple has not yet commented on the new hearing.
