Apple ordered Largan camera for iPhone 9 resolution over 12 MP

According to new information available to the DigiTimes, Apple has ordered the new plant Largan Precision camera for their future smartphones.


We are talking about the resolution camera more than 12 MP, which will go into production in October of this year. New factory Largan Precision located in Taiwan Taichung, expected to release 600 million camera modules for smartphones, six times more than the company at the moment. The source says that 600 million cameras will produce a monthly, but it’s probably a bug and we are talking about annual performance.


Since the beginning of production is planned only for October, the cameras will be used in the next Apple smartphone, which is what we conventionally call iPhone 9.



The source adds that among camera manufacturers for smartphones resolution over 12 MP only Largan Precision requirements to withstand the quality and standard of marriage, which puts Apple.


Largan has not commented on the rumor about Apple adding that the new factory will reach full capacity in the fourth quarter of this year.
