Apple is testing more than 10 prototypes of the iPhone 8

Another source confirmed previous rumors that one of the new iPhone models, which will be released next year, may get a curved OLED display.

Edition of the Wall Street Journal reports that the main supplier of displays is likely to be Samsung. However, Apple has also asked other suppliers (LG Display, Sharp and Japan Display) to increase the pace of production of OLED panels in 2018.

The source adds that Apple is testing more than 10 different prototypes of the iPhone 8, including the version with a curved OLED display, which should be the most expensive. However, it is still unclear how many smartphones will represent the company in the next year and will there be among them at least one new type of display.

Everyone is waiting for Apple’s something special in the anniversary of the iPhone. The company is simply obliged to meet the expectations, given that over the last couple of years in the line of iPhone was not revolutionary changes, especially in terms of design.
