Apple has patented electronic steam generator, which is not related to Smoking
The patent and trademark office (United States Patent and Trademark Office, USPTO) has published Apple’s new patent, which describes a device similar to an electronic steam generator.
Then, many publications have published notes with headlines that claimed that Apple intends to enter new market by offering a new product to fans of electronic cigarettes.
Later it became known that the device has no relation to Smoking. The patent describes the manufacturing process of semiconductor solutions, as well as the device enabling the process of evaporation or sublimation (the transformation of matter from solid directly to gas, bypassing the liquid).
The author of the patent is Tetsuya Ishikawa (Tetsuya Ishikawa), a specialist Apple on nanotechnology and photolithography. He is also the author of several other patents describing the process of creating semiconductors.
