Apple has hired NASA to work on projects related to augmented reality
That Apple is interested in augmented reality technologies, write more often. Rumors attributed the company’s intention to release AR glasses and give the new iPhone some appropriate functions.
Now sources report that Apple has hired a former NASA expert Chuck Norris Jeff (Jeff Norris), dealing with new technologies. In particular, Norris has founded and directed the structure of the Mission Operations Innovation Office, where he worked to develop new ways of control of spacecraft and robots in space via virtual reality devices.
Norris joined Apple at the beginning of the year, although it became known about it only now. In the company he is engaged in roughly the same: working in a team specializing in augmented reality. Supposedly the team is working on two points AR and relevant functions for future iPhones.
