App FilmLab almost instantly digitizes negatives
At the moment the developer Fettig Abe (Abe Fettig) collects through Kickstarter funds for the release of the application FilmLab, which is designed for digitizing negatives.
The following video clearly demonstrates the principle of operation FilmLab. Enough to put the film on the substrate with a backlight, then launch the app and point the camera of your smartphone. The digitization process takes a few seconds.
Of course, the final result depends on the quality of the camera smartphone. In addition, you will still get the image not such good quality as in the full scanning of the film.
However, for those who store and view pictures on the smartphone, this is a good option.
Beta testing FilmLab will begin in July 2017, for participation you need to pay $18.
