Analysts Kantar Worldpanel ComTech say that the share of iOS in the smartphone market in the US has increased compared to last year
Specialists research firm Kantar Worldpanel ComTech has studied the situation in the smartphone market in the period from may to July, and came to the conclusion that the share of iOS devices in the U.S. rose compared to last year. At the end of the reporting period was 31.3%, whereas a year ago was equal to 30.1%. The share of Android in the same time decreased from 65,6% to 65%.
Besides the U.S., analysts have covered the five largest European markets: UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. If you believe the published data, in Britain the share of iOS increased from 32.8% to 38%. Interestingly, Android’s share also increased from 54.4% to 57.3%. A similar situation is observed in the rest of the country the top five. Obviously, the growth of manufactures at the expense of reducing the share of devices with the mobile version of Windows.
