Amazon has collected a third of total revenue cloud services market in the last quarter

Canalys analysts claim that the market of cloud infrastructure services in the fourth quarter of 2016 reached 10.3 billion dollars, an increase at an annual rate of 49%.

By a large margin continues to lead the Amazon Web Services (AWS), which accounted for 33.8% of total revenue of the market in the last quarter. Thus the total share of the three closest competitors (Microsoft, Google and IBM) is only 30.8%. Position Oracle and Alibaba is even lower: 2.4% and 1.7%, respectively.

The rest, as it is easy to calculate, account for as much as 31.3 per cent of revenue. Analysts predict that by the end of this year, the market will grow by 46%, to 55.8 billion.
