Already released the LG TVs will support Dolby TrueHD

Company LG Electronics announced that are already released this year OLED TVs will receive support uncompressed Dolby TrueHD.

That being said in the press release, means that the audience will hear the sound when watching movies exactly as intended by its creators. This functionality will be added in the near future with software updates.

All the OLED TVs by LG, which was released this year, support audio compression Dolby AC-4, as well as extended dynamic range Dolby Vision. Services streaming of video content are already offering more than 100 films that allow you to see the benefits of Dolby Vision.

In addition, the upcoming update will include codec support MAT (Metadata-enhanced Audio Transmission) to enable Dolby TrueHD to a compatible console games.

The firmware will be released before the end of the month.
