Adopted specification LoRaWAN 1.0.2
Non-profit organization LoRa Alliance, bringing together more than 400 participants, has announced the release of a new version of the specification LoRaWAN. As stated, the appearance specifications LoRaWAN 1.0.2 will facilitate the introduction of this technology of Internet of things.
LoRaWAN uses part of the radio spectrum not requiring licensing (allocated for industrial, scientific and medical devices) for communication between remote sensors and gateways attached to the network. In different countries for these purposes are highlighted in different ranges. In the new version of the specification added support for the frequencies used in the Asia-Pacific region, including South Korea, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. In addition, the new specifications parameters specific to the country, is separated from the kernel parameters of the Protocol which would beg further updates without the need to release new versions of the core specifications LoRaWAN. Specification LoRaWAN 1.0.2 is now available for download on the website of the Alliance.
