According to new rumors, the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti can be blocked overclocking

Yesterday we updated the graphics card GeForce GTX 1070 Ti to be submitted by October 26. Recall that the adapter will get 2432 of CUDA cores and 256-bit memory bus.

This should ensure that the map performance is very close to the GeForce GTX 1080. However, a new piece of evidence points to a very unusual feature of the upcoming model, which for many will be a significant drawback.

The source claims that the GTX 1070 Ti will be impossible to disperse. Supposedly all adapters are supplied with the same frequency and the possibility to change them would be blocked. On the one hand, this could be explained by the desire to breed Nvidia’s new GTX 1080 and below first could not adversely affect the sale of older sister. On the other — nothing like the company in the foreseeable past did not.

Another source claims that the frequencies can be changed, as before, but the adapter, in contrast to all other modern Nvidia cards, will not exceed the limits established in specifications frequency range (MHz 1607-1683).

The source also suggests that the reference sample Nvidia to release will not, just giving the new development partners.
