Experts DRAMeXchange, a division of the analytical company TrendForce, summed up the first quarter on the market of DRAM. According to their calculations, compared with the previous quarter, the market grew by 13.4%. For the three months from January to March of DRAM was sold by 14.13 billion.

While contract prices for DRAM memory for personal computers increased by 30%. Analysts attribute this to the deficit at the end of 2016, and the desire of OEMs to agree in advance about deliveries in the first quarter.
