According to estimates by DRAMeXchange, mobile DRAM for the quarter decreased by 1.7%

Analysts DRAMeXchange, a division of TrendForce, estimates that in the first quarter of 2017, the market for chips mobile DRAM memory in monetary terms decreased by 1.7% compared to the previous quarter.

Experts DRAMeXchange explain this seasonal decrease in the sales of smartphones. In quantitative terms, these devices in the first quarter of 2017 were sold by 22.3% less than in the previous quarter.

As before, almost all shipments of mobile DRAM — 97,7% — provide three vendors: Samsung, SK Hynix and Micron. Their shares are for 61.3%, 24.2% and 12.3%, respectively. Just over a quarter of the chips mobile DRAM memory was sold in the amount of 3,162 billion.
