According to analysts IHS, Markit, in the second half of the TV panel can be a little cheaper

LCD panels for TVs more expensive in the last 15 months. Now, however, growth stopped in all segments except segment panel size 65 inch diagonal. In the second half of the year the prices may even slightly decrease, but the decline will be small. This view is held by experts of the analytical company IHS Markit.

It is expected that the volume of supply of TV panels in 2017 will be reduced by 2%. The demand will grow by 7%. Of course, in such a situation to expect a significant decline in prices in the second half should not be.

The supply of panels of size 40-43 inches during the year will be reduced by 13 million units due to the fact that Samsung Display has shut down the factory, working with underlays 7.5 G. At the same time, two new factory 8.5 G earned in China, and the company, Innolux increased the productivity of Taiwanese factory 8.6 G.

Currently, China is building four lines 10.5 G, which should enter into operation in early 2019. When this happens, China will have 45% of the global production of LCD panels. In second place is South Korea with 26%, followed by Taiwan with 23%. Analysts believe that in 2019 the industry will start to show overproduction.
