A new deal with Samsung Display and Apple can point to the fact that all new smartphone copertina’ll get OLED screens

According to the source, Samsung Display has entered into a deal with Apple to supply OLED panels for smartphones next-generation iPhone. In this case, it refers to the supply of 60 million panels in the amount of 4.3 billion dollars.

This is the second such deal Samsung. Last year Samsung and Apple have agreed to supply 100 million panels with organic LEDs. Of course, this entire volume will be delivered to Apple immediately, but during the life cycle of new smartphones.

It should also be noted that, if two transactions is correct, Apple will receive during the year, 160 million panels. The company sells annually about 200 million smartphones, and considering the old model. So it turns out that all the new Apple smartphones will be equipped with AMOLED screens. Unfortunately, these findings cannot be considered definitive, as not all such information in the end turns out to be true.
