A fire destroyed part of the archive HP

A fire occurred recently in the Californian city of Santa Rosa, destroyed the archives of the HP, which were kept in a unique historical materials about the founders of the company — William Hewlett (William Hewlett, pictured in 1944 he was pictured on the left) and David Packard (David Packard).

The fire disappeared historical photographs, letters, documents, and other artifacts of a bygone era. A few years ago they were valued at $ 2 million. Materials were stored in the headquarters of Keysight Technologies, until 1999, which was a division of HP engaged in measuring and testing instruments.

Note that in the headquarters of Keysight Technologies were kept only part of the HP files. The materials stored in other places, was not injured.
