A few days on the issue MonsterBorg — propelled chassis for the robot that is managed by the Raspberry Pi, are collected three times more money than was planned

On the website Kickstarter recently began collecting resources for the production of wheeled chassis MonsterBorg. Four-wheeled all-terrain chassis with independent drive of each wheel is designed to create a robot controlled by Raspberry Pi single Board computer. The interest in the development is evidenced by the fact that in just a few days, the goal set by the authors of the project were exceeded six times.

Design MonsterBorg includes chassis with wheels with a diameter of 105 mm and four engines with a diameter of 37 mm (rotation speed — 300 rpm), the engine controls with load capacity 5 A, compartment for 10 elements AA and mount for the Raspberry Pi single Board computer. The product is compatible with microcomputers Raspberry Pi 3, Pi 2, B+ and Pi Zero. According to the developers, battery life reaches 3 hours MonsterBorg

You can connect another power source and use it to power the motors and a microcomputer.

Shipment MonsterBorg should begin in may.
