8895 Exynos SoC, which will find application in the Samsung Galaxy S8, can get GPU Mali-G71
The new flagship smartphone Samsung Galaxy S, no doubt, will receive the new single-chip system. At the moment it appears under the name Exynos 8895, but in the end can get quite different.
According to new rumors, this SoC, first, will be produced at 10-nanometer process technology, and secondly, get a new GPU Mali-G71 submitted in may. Recall, this graphics processor based on the architecture of Bifrost and supports Vulkan API and OpenGL ES 3.2. In addition, in the maximum configuration it can hold up to a 32 execution units vs 16 in the Mali-T880.
The performance of the new GPU needs 50% higher than its predecessor. In particular, it suggests that the Galaxy S8 will still be a 4K display.
