7Artisans will soon release a lens with a focal length of 35 mm and a maximum aperture of F/1.2 for mirrorless cameras

Chinese manufacturer of interchangeable lenses 7Artisans has shared the nearest plans. Until the end of the year it intends to release three models.

First the novelty lens with a focal length of 12 mm and a maximum aperture of F/2.8 for mirrorless cameras with sensors APS-C and less. It will be released in the Sony E mount, Canon EOS-M, Fuji X and Micro Four Thirds.

The second novelty lens with a focal length of 35 mm and a maximum aperture of F/1.2. It will also be designed for mirrorless cameras with sensors APS-C and less, equipped with mounts Sony E, Canon EOS-M, Fuji X and Micro Four Thirds.

The list is completed by a lens with a focal length of 35 mm and a maximum aperture of F/2. It will be offered only in option with mount Leica M. In contrast to the model with a focal length of 50mm and maximum aperture of F/1.1, aperture ring the lens will rotate in steps. According to the source, stepless aperture ring mentioned lens with a focal length of 50 mm caused much criticism of the users and the manufacturer has decided to consider the feedback in the new model.
